NTW Solutions Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cumbria, Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, providing an operated healthcare facility to the Trust across its property and back office services as well as developing a range of similar support services to external clients across the region and nationally.
Established in April 2017, NTW Solutions Ltd has over 600 staff and a turnrover of over £33m pa. We focus on providing cost effective and quality support services to the Trust across its 60+ sites, enabling NTW Foundation Trust to focus more exclusively on the planning and delivery of its core clinical services.
All profit generated is returned to the Trust to support delivery of better care for all service users.
What we do
Across the fields of Estates, Facilities, Car Leasing, Finance, Workforce and Procurement we can offer high quality advice and services to others in both the public and private sectors.
Created as a company in 2017 we have built our commercial ethos upon the firm foundations of our NHS values. With particular experience of supporting mental health services, we offer innovative and sustainable solutions, ensuring best value.
Our strategy for 2018 – 2021 has been developed in the context of:
- Being a newly formed company, in 2017, wholly owned by the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (the NTW Trust).
- Our activities being undertaken in accordance with the vision and values of the NTW Trust; and
- Our remit, which includes seeking other commercial opportunities and to generate additional income

We have plans in place to achieve these aims by continuing our focus on providing high quality, value for money support services to the NTW Trust. And since our establishment we have grown the business by taking on three new services for the Trust, increasing our turnover.
Our remit to seek other commercial opportunities means that we are also pleased to receive enquiries from other organisations to see if we can provide similar high quality support services to our mutual benefit.
