The Finance department’s main area of focus is to support the Organisation and Group’s integral functions by processing, paying and issuing invoices at the right time to ensure that there is no delay to any of the goods and services procured by our stakeholders, enabling the provision of the best patient care service possible.

Transactional Finance

  • Provide a full accounts payable processing function
  • Arrange payment for all expenditure
  • Processing of all interface data from feeder systems such as payroll, pharmacy and stores
  • Providing advice and support to managers and budget holders
  • Assisting and responding to Supplier and customer queries and complaints
  • Provide a full accounts receivable processing function
  • Record, Monitor and chase aging debts

Accountancy & Salary Sacrifice

  • Preparation of annual accounts for the Group, Trust, Company and Charity
  • Monthly control code and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provision of a capital accounting service
  • Completion of statutory returns Eg, HMRC VAT, CIS and NHS Improvement
  • Provision of salary sacrifice schemes to employees such as Cars, Phones, Computers, White goods etc
  • Ensure Standing Financial Instructions, policies and procedures are met.
  • Record, Monitor and chase aging debts

Patients Finance & Cashiers

  • The provision of a patients monies and management of patients bank accounts
  • Providing a Charitable Funds service processing and managing any bids for funds and transactional record keeping
  • Management of Petty cash floats
  • Cash and Bank receipt processing

The finance team seek to continue and expand on their past and current collaborative work with internal and external departments and organisations to share best practice in the aim to utilise the resources effectively and efficiently.
